Public sector telecom company BSNL has joined hands with Novatium Solutions for educating the farmers of the country with computer knowledge. BSNL has taken this step to provide agriculture related information and the information about banking services to the farmers and rural area people. Due to this service, farmers will be able to get necessary information for them online on their PC. BSNL in association with Novatium Solutions has launched such a special kind of PC for this purpose which will be available in Rs 2,500 in rural areas and in Rs 4,500 in urban areas.
This PC has been launched in the ‘India Telecom 2010 Fair’ organized at the
Pragati Maidan at Delhi. This PC consists of a 15 inch monitor and CPU navigator, key board, mouse will be provided with this. But in urban areas it will be provided with TFT screens in Rs 4,500.
